Westwood Inn

My husband and I work on the road for a living and Westwood Inn is the perfect example of the motel we always search for. Do not hesitate if you are thinking of booking, Richard will take care of you! He's a fantastic host, always looking out for his guests. Cheers Richard!

What can I say... absolutely amazing service. I got a room because my dad is in the hospital(I'm from edmonton, I travel to drayton every second day to see him) and his birthday had arrived. While checking in, the kind gentleman listened to my sad tale, and gave many kind regards and well wishes towards my dad. And then went ABOVE AND BEYOND any expectations I could have had. He put me in a beautiful suite, without charing me more than I had already paid online. Moved me from upstairs to a air-conditioned room. The kindness I received will stay with me for the rest of my life. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND A VIST!

Great place to stay!! Richard and his staff are incredibly friendly and helpful!! Room had everything you'd expect and was clean and quiet.

We were evacuated from Edson on Friday June 9th and we were in desperate need of a place to stay on short notice. I called a few places and felt blown off almost immediately when speaking to whoever it was over the phone. So as a last ditch effort we tried this place, I was greeted immediately with kindness and told there was a room available that would be fine to have my two dogs, cat and 3 kids as well as my wife and I. Richard was so caring and kind same with his wife. Probably some of the nicest people I've had the opportunity of meeting. They treated my whole family like gold, the room was wonderful as well. He made our stay comfortable and we didn't go without anything. He even made dinner for the entire place the Saturday after we arrived and it was incredible. Thank you so much for understanding and caring during our time of need. You both were lifesavers!

I had a great stay here when I was in Drayton Valley for work for a couple weeks. The service of the on-site staff was great - very friendly and accommodating, quick to answer any inquiries I had.

The room was good and had most things I needed. Anything I was needing that wasn't in the room, I was able to get quickly after asking the staff members.

Just a heads up, there is no on-site guest laundry service available which I felt was a slight inconvenience but they do offer a laundry pickup and drop off service through a local laundromat in town which some people might find to be a better option than doing their own laundry anyway, I just prefer to do my own laundry so having to go get coins and drive to the laundromat was a slight inconvenience for me.

The hotel is on the edge of town so not really walking distance to any stores, but Drayton Valley isn't that big so it only takes a couple minutes to drive into town from this location.

The hotel is nothing fancy - if you are wanting something fancy and all kinds of ammenities then this probably isn't the place for you but I really enjoyed my stay and it was perfect for my purposes of being there for work- big room, big bed, clean. I will stay here again if I am ever in Drayton Valley.
