“I am so impressed with Alberta Strong Movers and the work they did for me this morning helping move out an old and rather large piano in my grandparents home...worst of all it was in the basement! Yikes! The staff was punctual, friendly and often cracking jokes with us which made the move easy and stress free. Despite the big job they overcame the obstacle and made it all happen with ease. I would recommend this company to anyone after my experience! Moving a piano isn't fun but to see the staff do so with confidence and a smile on their face made it easy for us. From start to finish these guys were high quality, I will be telling everyone I can about them.”

“The location is quite nice as it is a newer location. As always, the Brewhouse gives great vibes for any event. I most recently went there for Brunch, and it was fantastic. Great food selection, and the Mimosas were super cute! You are given a mini champagne bottle and orange juice and you get to create it at your table. As I live in this area, I will definitely be returning!”

“I am a regular here, which says a lot because I would never spend the kind of money they charge anywhere else on a regular basis. That being said, It is my understanding that they provide health benefits to all their staff, as well as encourage a "No tipping" environment. I also know for a fact they use quality locally sourced ingredients because I have never bitten into my food here and ran into an unexpected piece of gristle. Their free filtered water is very refreshing and they carry the best pho and vermicelli bowls I have ever had. The spices they use to saute their lemongrass dishes is very flavor full. As a result, I can completely justify spending the extra money here. If I could afford to eat here on a daily basis I probably would.”

“*EDIT* I have visited a few times since this review, with fairly decent massages, but my last visit was with ( who I assume) the therapist who uses...unique techniques, like scratching, odd movements and was actually interrupted by someone knocking on the door. Now, I figured, I had already reached out to voice my 1st complaint and didn't want to seem like I had nothing better to do, but I reached out and I am so happy I did. After messaging with the clinic manager Annie, she apologized, recommended a few therapists that would better suit my needs and also offered a member rate. I booked the second I finished reading her email. Annie, thank you for your dedication and kindness, great customer service truly goes a long way. I had no issues with my massages, however the sound travels and you can hear every laugh and conversation. My massage therapist turned the music up but it didn't help. They were kind enough to offer me a comped massage for the not so great experience and the same same issue happened (but with another great massage). If they can fix the sound issues id become a regular. They also direct bill and offer a deal for 1st time clients.”

“McDonald's fare here, served warm and somewhat fresh. Taste was ok but had obviously not been made fresh as was not hot. Usually better quality at this location so disappointing. Restaurant tables, many not clean and trash in various places on floor. Will still continue to visit this location despite this visits short-comings.”

“Quick. Friendly. Good pizza. I've been here around ten times. Same as any other Panago, really. But staff is quick to acknowledge your existence, and take your order or give you your food. Never had a bad order here. Everything has been prepared by the book, and on time. I was a Panago employee a decade ago, so I know some of the tricks they can play. They haven't played any of those tricks so far. Good for them. One critique, is that the employees can barely handle an order in-person. If you have a unique make-your-own pizza, either phone it in, or do it online. The employees aren't really trained for this in-store. They struggle with basic orders. Also, if you're using the save-on-foods points thing, you'll have to remind them half the time.”

“We recently toured Lewis Estates Retirement Residence to help a family member choose a retirement home. Our knowledgeable and gracious tour guide was Penny Phillips, Lifestyle Director. We very much appreciate the time she spent with us to showcase the Residence and answer our questions. Our first impression is that everything was very clean, bright, roomy, and modern. We toured the main floor as well as the third floor. The main entry area with adjacent library is inviting and would be a treat to come home to after outings catered to via shuttles operated by the Residence. The Edmonton Public Library has a book exchange program and they make weekly visits with informative presentations. Residents have healthy and delicious choices for their daily meals, prepared by an executive chef, and the main floor dining room is very spacious and nicely decorated. A well organised an accessible postal outlet is located on the main floor as well as a large family gathering room that can be booked for events. A spacious theatre, chapel, and pool (with twice weekly aquatic exercise programs) have marvellous design elements for use by the residents. Each suite is generously sized and comes with an outdoor balcony for summer use. Outdoors there are walking paths, a garden for residents to engage, a BBQ patio for summer enjoyment, and a generous green space around the residence. Everyone we met seemed genuinely happy.”
