Westbound outdoors is a great little shop, I've been here for stylin' last minute birthday and christmas gifts and always found something good at a fair price, the owner Shelly is kind and helpfull and she has assisted me in picking out wicked brand name apparel for the sporty types in my family...she especially has a knack for correctly guessing sizes with a vague description, I'm not a tailor and it's great when I buy gifts that fit and don't get returned..... who wants to drive up to Olds just to find out that you can't get half of this stuff there anyways, pretty cool that they cater to the snowboarders skiers and hockey crowd too, pretty much something for everyone and new goodies to look at whenever I go. I've recently discovered that there is now a skate sharpening service inside and the price is lower than the olds arena, so there are some happy hockey moms coming and going now for the $6.56 price of a sharpen with tax. It feels great to support a locally owned joint that is comparable in content to shops in a much more expensive area like Canmor of Banff. Thanks for everything you sell and do for the community and for building the cash of quality local businesses with quality big city brands....I will be back.

Great place to get your skates sharpened, pick up hockey tape and other essentials. The people who run this store are friendly and helpful.
