The first time I had someone come to my house it was for a government requested meter exchange, at which time I also requested a fitting installed so that we could hook up our natural gas BBQ. When I called the general line, they told me it would be 6 weeks before they could get someone out.
I don’t remember why, but for some reason I was transferred to the local office in Fort Saskatchewan. I was then advised that they could send someone the following day to do both the meter exchange and the BBQ hook up. When he arrived, he was able to install the correct fittings at the meter itself but we were missing parts to actually hook it up. He called the shop, and they confirmed they had none in stock either.
Fast forward a few weeks, I was heading out to run errands and found the same technician pulling up. He had brought the parts with him to hook up our BBQ, without further request from me.
Today I had to call in to have a pilot light re-lit in our garage after the above meter exchange, and once again was booked for a month away. I tried calling the local office, who had someone here within a few hours to do it for me.
Outstanding customer service, the technician (I wish I had his name) went above and beyond for us both times. The service provided by the branch is very much appreciated!
