(October 1, 2023, 10:12 pm)Found this neat little gem in Carberry, Manitoba, just 2 km off the Trans-Canada highway. We were misdirected by GasBuddy to a nearby gas station (wrong price), so filled up gas here instead. A delightful little gas station (Petro-Canada), coffee shop, snack food available and a shared door with a Subway. Reminded me of the now-cancelled Corner Gas show. Townfolk were sitting around coffee tables visiting. The friendly young staff made our stay comfortable. Had a fresh brewed cup of coffee and visited a few local men at our table. Emily, the young girl behind the cash register, was a long-time fan of Corner Gas herself and said she watched all the shows growing up. She agreed with my comparison of this place to Corner Gas.
