“Favorite summer spot. You can walk in through the trail and end up a ways down the beach. Or you can drive in and park right near picnic tables and the guarded swimming area. Even in the winter it's a lovely place for a walk.”

“My favorite place in Clayton to go to. I'll stop here in the morning to do my stretching before my run and watch the sunrise as the early morning boaters head out for the day. Pure bliss when you're all by yourself. I love the old train station waiting area that has plenty of benches to sit at and watch the river. I also love the colorful Adirondack chairs, very nice touch. Be sure to check out the giant Muskellunge statue as well as the giant Anchor! They did an excellent job fixing up this park, very enjoyable.”

“Me & my family if cousin's had a great time hiking threw the wild looking at different trees and fossils and reading little notes on the history of the land. The trails are easy enuff for adults and kids. The trails are pretty well marked, there is room to get lost on anytrail, but there are four sides to every peace of land. There is always a way in and out and often more than one. We all brought hiking sticks and a pack packs w water and favorite snacks for a just in case moment or any other moment.”

“Looks good after hours spent cleaning it up today. Now I know why straws should be banned. There was also a large amount of plastic tampon applicators, shotgun shells, & firework remnants.”

“Very enjoyable and educational place to walk. We visited on a beautiful fall day and it was perfect. Not sure how it would be in the heat of the summer. Parking, but no other facilities.”

“We got there bike touring so early in the season they were not even open but the owner was there and he was kind enough to show us around and offer us options that fitted our needs. They offer mostly big campers sites but also a few tent sites and cabins. Good wifi, and maintenance, has everything you need and maybe a few small dogs too many.”

No issues with any amenities in the cottages everything worked fine, land is maintained! we are definitely coming back! Very comfy and family oriented! Thank you for a nice stay!”

“My friends trailer was very cute and the sites had some room. There werent many people around so im guessing it must be more of a weekend stop. The had beautiful new docks but lots of steps down to them. The had a gazebo to site in by the water.”

“The owners were wonderful! They went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. Our site had amazing views - we totally enjoyed watching the big ships pass while enjoying our campfire. The location of this campground was perfectly situated near all the attractions, and Canada was just 15 minutes away. Perfect! The only issue that I had was the bathrooms/showers. The bathrooms were old and dingy. Very dark and outdated. The showers were controlled by a 5” chain that you had to pull for tepid water. To rinse your back, you’d need to be a contortionist.”
