A true multi day back country hike that is close enough to civilization that it isn't too intimidating for the beginner! Beautiful views and very peaceful.

There is a beautiful 5km hike from the visitor's center, through the forest and returning along the beach if you only have a couple hours to spend here. Very interesting geology. The climb up into the forest is moderate, but may be too demanding for some.

Not my favorite camping on NS. Gravel road. Direction not really easy on site. No shower installation. But you can take free logs on site for your fire. Good dimension for camp.

You have to travel your stuff from the parking lot, grab your backback and full it ;)
