Mexi's Halifax

The pricing is really good seeing as the amount of food you get and the quality justifies it. Good daily specials as well. Will be going again.

First time at this restaurant, as recently changed from Italian to Tex-Mex. The power in my apartment area, went out so neighbours dropped by to invite me to go out for supper with them. They were at Mexi's a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it. The service was excellent and the food plentiful and tasty. My margarita was just what I needed and only $5. I kept to one as I ordered the shrimp and avocado cassadias and wanted to enjoy the flavours. It was very tasty. We shared nachos as well as complimentary salsa and chips, while deciding our orders. My friends ordered chimichurri and burrito bowl. Needless to say, our plates were empty. Make sure you are hungry when you go to Mexi's or bring a doggy bag home. A great place for a family!

First of all we went on a Friday evening and I would recommend getting there as close to 5 as possible. If you wait until 6 you're going to have a 30-45 minute wait.
We were seated promptly and the service overall was very good. We had fried avocados as an appetizer and they were delicious just like our waitress said. Next for our main course my daughter had enchiladas w/rice and bean and I had a burrito bowl. My daughter was very pleased with her food as was I. I know they just moved to this new location but everything seemed like it was going to work out just fine for them and it's closer for us so it's a win win.
