“I contacted Jennifer to do my personal & business taxes plus my husbands personal taxes February 2022. I sent her all documents and all business information was on quickbooks complete. She made multiple mistakes which I noted right away to be fixed. Finally she submitted the taxes and we got our invoice which was more than we discussed however I was just happy they were done and I didn't have to worry. Fast forward 5 months later and I get an email from CRA stating that my GST/HST was never submitted for my business and they have accessed me and I owe money based on no return completed. I figure okay, little mistake- no problem. We paid her for a business tax return (250) AND a HST review (75) so I figure she will fix this as soon as I send over the letter. No reply after a week so I followed up, finally replied saying I need to fill out a form for permission to file on my behalf (which I filled out in April). I said okay, I will send the form again. That was September 23rd. I have followed up 5 times since then with emails and phone calls and no reply. I don't know if she is ghosting me or has gone bankrupt since her website is no longer functioning. At this point I will need to look into doing it myself, hopefully this delay does not affect my business standing. But it was a waste of money using her in the end.”
