My Mom was only 1.5 weeks at Strathaven when she passed
The staff and administration were very caring and made her comfortable in her last days.
I recommend them.

I spoke with one resident. He loves the food there ... Good food and fresh, not to mention the variety. I know he likes his meat and potatoes! The staff are pleasant and helpful, he tells me. I pray that your experience is as good as his.

Facility somewhat dated, but staff was outstanding in the convelesance care unit for the 90 days my mother was there. Always cheerful and helpful even though they were rushed off their feet 99% of the time. Willing to take time to speak with me, call me with info etc. Look beyond the walls and see the caring people!

I highly recommend it. The staff & workers are excellent. The older building layout means that there is more interaction among staff & residents accenting the family atmosphere. I have visited & helped people living in a variety of local nursing homes so I am familiar with most of them but I like this one best.
