The Restaurant at Pearl Morissette

Worth every penny spent here. 3hr food experience. Well worth it. Beware of having the coffee at the end, it might keep you wired all night ! Highly recommended experience. If you arrive here too early - spend some time at Balls Falls - free parking after 4pm at the conversation area nearby.

It was a great experience over all. Great food , great service and nice view. First time eating in a barn. Interesting! Nice decor too. The waiters don't accept tips yet provide great services. I respect that. Service shouldn't be dependent on tips....
Why do we pay 13% tax and then another 15% tips??
The tasting menu price is reasonable I would say.

Incredible culinary experience. Wine pairing with 9 delectable courses, thoughtful preparation with foraged ingredients and perfectly paired wines. Unassuming barn behind a farm property becomes a breathtaking open kitchen room. Look for the large red cardinal.

Four of us celebrated a birthday at this unique place. Food - beyond tasty and managed carefully for those with allergies or specific requests. All 9 courses were delightful and satisfying with wine pairing. Service - top drawer, knowledgeable and fun. Ambience - relaxing. Expensive but worth every penny!

Wow! There are no words to describe the excellence experienced at Pearl Morissette! Every detail from the wine pairings to the cutlery is exceptional. The service was phenomenal and every course was described in detail to us as it arrived at the table.

The flavours are deliberate and delicious. The course sizes were fair; we left full and satisfied. We were told that the menu changes with the season and usually stays the same week to week until a new season brings different options or new local ingredients are available. This allows time to perfect the dish and pairings. I agree with this approach.

We enjoyed a total of 9 courses including 3 sweet courses and an additional cheese and honey course which was an add on to our bill. The house wine is on the dry side so I went with another Niagara based winery which was also perfectly paired.

In order to experience a different menu, we have made reservations again at the end of summer. Well done Pearl Morissette!
