I had a Five star experience today, not only with Dr Nam, but his staff as well. I attended at my appointment on time, and was met by Dr Nam's assistant (J), immediately. After only a few minutes wait (two or three minutes) I was ushered into an examination room by a team doctor of Dr Nam, who took preliminary information as well as administering a couple of tests, including an ultrasound, which he himself performed, within a few minutes, during my intake. I then met with Dr Nam, again, after a minute or two wait. I found Dr Nam to be cordial, pleasant, and interested. We discussed my case, I was informed that an updated PSA was required. I was sent for that blood test immediately, on site, and Dr Nam's receptionist also scheduled me for the first available Cystoscopy, which is a couple weeks from now. Finally, I was provided email contact information, as well as information to access my blood work results, available tomorrow. The only reason I reported five stars, is because five is the maximum allowed. Kudos to you Dr Nam, and your staff. The service and punctuality I experienced today is very very rare, relying on many of my previous experiences with the Canadian Healthcare system..

In January 2020, I was very concerned with my diagnosis, and the care I would receive from Dr Nam based on the reviews I read on Google here. But I am here today because of Dr. Nam and his great team! As for the other review regarding not doing surgery, and only taking the easy cases, I can't believe it to be true. I'm sure that Dr. Nam would love to save everyone, but if he chooses not to take a surgery there is probably a very good and ethical reason he is not going to operate, so I applaud him for this. My case was not easy of simple at all, but when I met the man, I was greeted with confidence. I remember questioning him immediately because of what I had read here, and he looked over at me and confidently says "this is not my first rodeo" with a smile. That was all the confidence I needed to see. My "easy surgery" lasted over 6 hours, and I lost 6 litres of blood, Dr. Nam did is job to help me, and told my family the rest was up to me. I am here today because of Dr. Nam, and very happy to have him as my surgeon! And his assistant Jen has been so supportive and is always great at responding to my follow.
