Olde Village Bakery

My wife and I stopped in while on vacation on PEI and OMG are we glad we did!!! The absolute BEST baked goods from tarts to croissant and everything in between. If you’re in the area and they’re open, slow down and enjoy visiting with others as there will most likely be a line. You’ll be glad you did!!! PS - the meat pies are an awesome lunch!

Oh boy! What a treat. This place is no secret to tourists and locals alike. Everyone on the island knows about Olde Village Bakery.

We stopped by this morning to pick up some delicious freshly baked sweets. And, we highly recommend that you do too!

This place is worth driving out of your way to find.

The bakery is located at a busy intersection. Therefore, getting in and out might be challenging. The parking lot is a bit small, but everyone seemed to manage.

Fantastic bakery! The only thing you have to know is: if you are planning on coming just after opening (9:30am), come on opening time. We arrived at about 10 and some baked good have been gone already (and restock afterwards).
Everything we bought Was perfect.
Should you come? Yes, and plan a special stop here.

Alright food. Got the apple turnover, and it was mostly pastry. Needs more apple.

Great stuffed meat (chicken) pastry, really hit the spot on our drive around the island.
