When the Phoenix of the LHJMQ the atmosphere is awesome and fun to be there live. -

(April 13, 2022, 12:28 pm)Watched a Phoenix hockey game against the Cataracts. Masking is not mandatory. The atmosphere is loud, like a crowded bar at midnight. Tickets are inexpensive and flexible (I used a Google Pay QR code) and the game action-packed. Absolutely no English on the premises, except for the rap music lyrics during warm up. Parking is easy, but we arrived 40 minutes early. It's an easy night out, but don't take young children. There is on-ice violence (e.g , lots of cheap shots and headhunting) and often, outright fighting.
