Ristorante Rosina

We decided to go over to Lake Huron and watch the sunset on a beautiful warm fall day yesterday. But we had to have dinner at Ristorante Rosina first of course and had a great meal. We shared the antipasto board for two as an appetizer and it was excellent with lots of variety. I had the ribeye and my husband the fish special - crispy pickerel - both delicious! The service was great, as always and we look forward to coming back again soon.

Four of us shared appetizers...the corn scallops and the pumpkin gnocchi. They were truly delicious and we were given enough pieces to split easily. Our salmon mains with risotto , and the beef tips with handmade bow tie pasta were tender and flavourful.
Our waitress seated us at the window; all together a special experience.

I wanted to take my wife for a nice meal out and I chose this place. The ambiance was cosy and the tables were laid out nicely (not too crowded). Our waitress was great and the food was delicious. They even had a live jazz pianist, playing as we ate, who was awesome. Plus they didn't rush us even though they were obviously busy. A very nice and intimate experience all around. We will be back!
