“The food was fantastic, the service was friendly and quick, and the family friendly atmosphere was great. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, boar burger, and mushroom fettuccine. I would go back again for the mushrooms alone! They were the best tasting mushrooms I have ever had. My boyfriend said he loved how lean the boar was, and that he didn't feel heavy after eating it, like you often do with burgers. We'll definitely go back again!”

“This is an awesome addition to the area. I have food allergies and I can eat virtually everything on the menu which is a rare find. They are only open during the week which saddens me as I quite frequently visit the area in the weekends. There is also limited seating if you want to eat there. I wish the servings were a bit bigger for the price and they each item was made to order opposed to pulled from the display case. Overall awesome and I am a repeat customer for sure. Check it out!”

“FIG defies description in that you would hardly expect a place like this in a tiny town like Ripley. The menu is replete with interesting items to tempt varying appetites including kid-friendly options. Craft beers were on tap and the wine options were great. Wide open dining area doesn't cater to those who prefer a more private meal. Food was served promptly and well-prepared. Portion sizes also spot on. Staff was fantastic. Why the missing star? Unfortunately the perch was not quite up to par with what we are accustomed to. Hoping to visit again to see if we can get that fifth star.”

“When you are driving through small towns on a Thanksgiving Day you are bound to find it difficult to get an eating place open. Hungry as we were our return trip from Torbermory to our home just did not throw up one. We were okay with ANY eating place. And as we drove on the main street of this little wonderful town of Mildmay saw the OPEN sign on this pub. The main door did not inspire us at all. (you will see the image below) But we were hungry and we wanted to eat. So we entered the place. The inside of the place was a complete difference. It did look old and had a lot of artifacts that were very dated. We were told the building the pub stood on was built in the 1800s and the SAME FAMILY owned the pub for over 100 years !!!! Wow...... no wonder the place had such a character about it. Everything inside was very good and belied the impression made by the door. The server we got was very friendly. We wanted some local beer which she suggested off the tap and these were amazing. The food was amazing. Well prepared, well presented and very tasty. The overall ambiance was phenomenal If you ever want a great watering hole in a charming small town, with a lot of character and one that whets your appetite, Harley's is SURELY the place to go. If ever I pass through Mildmay again, a pit stop at Harley's will be a done thing.”
