We ate the Good Friday fish buffet at the Clubhouse. I don't normally like eating at buffets due to general poor quality of food, but I will make an exception when it comes to the Clubhouse. The food was of high quality and freshly prepared. The salad was very fresh, and although I'm not a huge fan of packaged salad dressings, theirs was pretty decent. The bread served with dinner was also fresh. The beer battered fish was excellent as the batter was crispy, and the fish was meaty and tender. I also appreciated how they served salmon as a second fish option. They pay special attention to the quality of their food as it really made a difference that they used fresh cut potatoes to make their fries, and these were served directly to the table and not left out to taste soggy and gross. I tried a bite of the roasted chicken (the fish really filled me up), and it was less tasty than the fish, but still pretty good. The buffet also included meat and veggie lasagne, but I did not eat these as I came for the fish.

My only real complaint which is preventing me from leaving 5 stars is that the price was a bit steep ($25 per person). I guess if you eat a lot then the price would be worth it, but I was full after salad, bread, 2 pieces of fish, a bit of salmon, and fries. I think to improve value, some freshly baked cookies or a dessert square should have been included for the $25.

This business specializes in catering, and I bought some of their frozen chicken noodle soup and a chicken pot pie. The chicken noodle soup was extremely delicious. I typically don't like chicken noodle soup, but bought this for my children and ended up eating an entire bowl. My picky toddler also loved the soup. I am looking forward to trying their chicken pot pie.

If I was throwing an event in the area that required catering, I would select the Clubhouse without hesitation.

Baldoon was chosen to be the long term caterer (5 weeks) for an event I was part of and although they started out rocky they have stepped up their game and provided us with some really good meals. You can tell there is pride in the dishes they are serving us. Keep up the good work.

Our Granddaughter and I had a really good bacon and egg breakfast here. She had breakfast sausages and I had bacon. Our orders were served as requested.
