“Sure it’s a little pricey but this is a great example of, you get what you pay for. I love good calamari and from experience I’m very wary of ordering it. Their dusted calamari is the best I’ve had in North America. The accompanying garlic sauce is the best! Again one of the best meals we’ve had anywhere! We come here for special occasions. It starts with wonderful service at the table, a true professional. The chef is second to none. Every morsel of food was perfect. Finishing with kibitzing with our waiter. We have never been disappointed.”

“Excellent food quality. The sandwiches, salads and fries were all very good and they had many vegetarian choices, including a home made veggie burger. The brioche bread was toasted and the presentation very professional as you can see in the picture that also shows the fish and chips and some mexican dish with fish as well. The server was new but very attentive and friendly.”

“Has an awesome laid back atmosphere on week days/nights. Whether you want to nurse a beer, play a game of pool or both. Weekends are pretty bangin. Gets a decent club vibe going, depending what band is playing. Best prices downtown. Staff are spectacular no matter when you're in, always quick and have super sonic hearing. Definitely Chathams go to bar, our own "Cheers"”

“Popped in for a late lunch on a weekday after driving family to the hospital. I ordered a salad, she had a grilled cheese. It was OK, I was a bit disappointed the entire salad was iceberg lettuce. The service was good, the decor is a little faded and old, but I guess the antique atmosphere is their selling point? I should try again and try something a little more fun than a salad. :)”

There is a certain smell, that wafts the corridors upon entry, but that comes with the very old buildings within the area. Overall, I'd recommend it to large families as a destination so you can skip the dishes.”

“Found this place by chance on an afternoon drive with my husband! Kinda off the beaten path, but the food was excellent! We had the oxtail dinner with rice and peas, steamed veg and sweet beans.
