Dairy Freez

Fantastic little place. Ice cream is delicious. Prices are good. My only complaint is even at the end of the year there is an awful lot of bees around which can be really bothersome especially for kids. I couldn't imagine in the middle of summer what its like. If bees don't bug you tho, then you have to just go here and eat.

This little stand offers a huge selection for their menu and have found a way to intensify soft serve ice cream. From milkshakes and Sundays to burgers and fries, this place has it all. Great little get away for family and friends while offering a gorgeous scenery to view while eating and enjoying your time.

Perhaps it's nostalgia. But I love going to this place on warm summer nights. Never really had the food but the soft serve ice cream is great. Prices are very good. $4 cone is huge.

There is a good reason for it's reputation. Simply had a burger and it was outstanding. Very homely. Sitting in that backyard like sitting ground makes it feel less like a restaurant and more like a family gathering. Love it.

I had a cravi g for an Ice Cream while visiting the Essex area, took my nephew along to Dairy Freez.
I was incredibly surprised.
This place is a hidden gem,that isn't so hidden.
For its location, the size of the lineup was surprising, but well worth the wait.
My nephews Chicken fingers were amazing, and the Ice Cream I got could have fed a small country for a year.
Staff was very friendly and I will definitely be making this a yearly stop when I'm in the area.
