Excellent craft beers and great food with an even better view! We enjoyed our experience at this craft bar and kitchen after an incredible day on the island.
Love to visit this place when I visit Pelee Island. The staff are extremely friendly and go the extra mile for their customers. I highly recommend the stone fire pizza or the fish tacos!
Went on a girls trip to Pelee Island this past weekend and can't recommend this restaurant enough. The decor was very slick and at the same time rustic, the beer selection was great and the food was out of this world! The pizza was perfect, fresh toppings and delicious chewy crust. The service was speedy and Matt especially spent his time talking to us and helping us out, he was so knowledgeable. This place will definitely be a "must visit" any time I'm on the island!
Good new place for its first year. Pizza was really quite good but the rest of our group ordered the fish tacos and weren't super thrilled with them. Their in house beers are good. A nice big patio outside for summer, lots of seating inside near the kotchen. It's very cool that you can see into the kitchen. Nice historic bar with reclaimed materials.
The new place on the block. Stone House 1891 is very unique for Pelee but is welcomed. Stone House 1891 is definitely something that is needed on the island, a place to eat that offers you supreme service and top quality food made in record time. The food is ready really quick, I ordered my pizza and next thing I know it's on the table. The environment is one of a kind! Can't wait to see what is added to the menu next. Have a special occasion or friends visiting from the other side of the lake, I would definitely stop by the Stone House 1891. ;)
