Have loved Akasaka since our first visit in Tecumseh years ago. The move hasn't changed a thing, their food is still incredible. The hot stone bowls...the sushi...no matter what you pick from the menu you can't go wrong. Everything is served with really good miso soup and salad. Our kids love their chicken yakisoba and using the "cheater" chop sticks.

    Will continue to frequent here.

    Fantastic Japanese food.
If you want more than just great Sushi and rolls, Akasaka has a menu of delicious Japanese dishes that you really can't find anywhere else in Windsor.
    Give Akasaka a try

Everything I had tasted great! The miso soup was the best I've ever had. Restaurant has a great ambiance. I will definitely be back!

    Sushi is good.

The place is one of the more authentic places I've been to in Windsor. Decor, music, etc.

The only thing that I'm not sure of is the hot sauce. Instead of the common siracha and mayo hot sauce, they use a vinegar based hot sauce. Everything was really good but this kind of put me off a bit.

Normally I don't comment on this but the service was a bit off too. We went as a group of 3, my wife and a friend. We put in two different orders and there was a lot of confusion between who's rolls belonged to each group.

I'd probably go back and just avoid any of the "spicy" rolls.
