Truly exceptional food at exceptional prices. BEST IN THE CITY!

I’ve been in the plaza where Mosul is located many times and after being tortured by the amazing smell each time, I finally decided to grab some lunch.

The place is tiny, there’s nowhere to sit and the grill makes the whole space rather warm as you wait around 10-15 min for your kebab but your patience is rewarded with something truly special.

The skewers of meat are visible in the cooler when you walk in and they are all grilled fresh to order (none of that reheated dried out nonsense many kebab places try to pass off) over a big charcoal grill. The aroma is instant and mouth watering. I ordered the beef which was a traditional mince mixed with spices and onion. It was wrapped in a pita with some of the freshest toppings and sauces I’ve ever tasted and although it was a bit messy, I devoured it in my car and every bite was perfect. The best part, it was only $5.95!

I will be back soon to try the other meats as well as the strangely enticing selection of Iraqi style pies visible at the counter.

I have traveled all over and I must say that the food from this little place is simply the best deal around. The owner is without a doubt very passionate about his food, taking care of every detail to ensure a fantastic product. This place does not look like much from the outside but once you taste the quality... you will not look elsewhere for your kabob fix. Chicken or beef, both are grilled to perfection over a charcoal grill and seasoned just right. Add the fresh toppings and you have a fantastic grilled food experience.
The only downfall is the wait, as with anything cooked fresh, it takes a little time. We always call about 20 min. before we want to pick it up and it is hot and ready waiting for you. Fantastic service. Keep up the great work.

Stopped in here by chance. I had some hummus, bread, and kibbeh. Amazing!!! Bread is chewy and fresh, hummus is so flavorful! I can't wait to bring the leftovers home to my wife! Three service was fantastic and very friendly! Place is a hole in the wall, but well worth the visit! I'll update next time with photos.
