Arrived in town late tonight and checked into our motel. The menu of the nearest restaurant wasn't too impressive so a quick Google search showed a nearby Indian takeaway. We called in to order a takeaway and the service was first class. Having been on the road all day a couple of pipadoms and a drink was welcome. As we were about to leave eave the owner/manager asked if we needed cutlery. We hadn't even thought about it yet. Plates and cutlery followed. We got back to our room and the food was really good. Lamb vindaloo and cauliflower vhaji are especially recommended!
We stopped here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon while on vacation. They were not too busy (possibly a byproduct of all the construction downtown) and it was closer to their closing time. Despite getting there late in their lunch hour and wanting to order from the tandoori oven which takes 15-20 minutes to cook, we never felt rushed
It's a very nice restaurant. Very clean and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious
First time to an Indian restaurant and the food was excellent! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a party of 5 and it didn't take long at all for the food to come out after we ordered. Place was very clean. Menu was cleary marked what was spicy and what was not. I would definitely go there again. I had the Lamb kabobs. Very tasty! Price was just over $100 for 5 of us and no one left hungry.
