Harper's Burger Bar

I have been searching for Kingston's best burger, and I think I have found it. They have quite a varied menu, and all sorts of interesting choices for a burger lover. I finally opted for their Smokehouse burger with the regular 6 oz patty, and it was FABULOUS. Never had a better burger that I can recall. The fries were also excellent. My brother had pulled pork on tacos and a salad, and said both were delicious. Our server Laura was on top of her game - friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive.

Great burger joint. Lots of choices. Fantastic sweet potato fries and onion rings. The only thing I might suggest they need to fix is the lettuce stack option in the bun selection. I ordered this option thinking I would get some nice pieces of lettuce to use as a bun but only received two tiny pieces. Not exactly a "stack" I asked for and received some more lettuce. If they are going to call it a stack and offer it as a bun selection I think they need to up their game. Still give it a 5 star as a great restaurant.

Service was AMAZING!! Dude with the beard (sorry I didn't get your name) was super polite and friendly. Made the visit all the better.
The food... Oh man! Highly recommend the waffle fries and anything you get needs to have the pretzel bun.

Best burgers in Kingston! Everything we are traveling through Kingston we try and stop here to eat. Amazing burgers with plenty of toppings to choose from. If you can’t decidedly can get several mini burgers so you can try more than one. Who doesn’t like a burger flight! Kids really enjoy the food and the milkshakes. Never disappointed when eating here.

Service was great. This place is clean and well run. They have a wide selection of unique burgers on the menu. I opted for the classic burger and cheese fries. The burger was good and it's done on a flat top grill, so you get a nice crisp outside with the juiciness on the inside. They have a their own version of a burger sauce which I thought was great. Almost like a chipotle ranch style. The fries were very moist and not to my liking. Overall if you're craving a burger this place wont disappoint. The reason why this doesn't get 4 stars is the pricing. My wife and I each had a drink and an entree and the bill was $70.00 Canadian which is still roughly $50.00 American. For me, a couple sandwiches, some fries, and two beers shouldn't come close to that price.
