Hello I've eaten there before! I've just joined and I'm looking forward to many events there! I recently attended a cream tea it was wonderful! A good friend of mine hosted the tea! Thank you very much! The staff are fantastic and they know your name!

I couldn't be more pleased. The entire experience was perfect. The staff are the most professional and helpful I've ever encountered. I recommend The University Club unreservedly ! My daughter's wedding was easy, affordable and a joy, thanks to them.

I joined the University Club in the late 1970s. With the exception of a few sabbatical years I have been a member ever since. The basic requirement to join is that you have worked at Queen's University or were a student. You maintain your membership by paying an annual fee.

The University Club sits on King Street and overlooks that portion of Lake Ontario that lies between Kingston and Wolfe Island. On a warm summer day, it's very pleasant to have lunch on the patio or, when available, on the lawn facing the Lake. The Club can also be rented such as we did when it hosted our daughter's wedding and the following reception.

Sunday Brunch for all three of our generations is a family tradition. Beyond a weekday lunch with a friend or colleague, we also take advantage of numerous other events such as pub night, seafood dinner and Valentine's Day dance.

The University Club was originally a private residence. When purchased by the University, it was expanded on the Stuart Street side to accomodate a large dining room, kitchen, and bar. Parking is found in the nearby underground parking lot during the day and a parking lot next to Club in the evenings or weekends.

What makes the Club work is the long serving group of professionals such as Manager Debra, Chef Kyle and Bartenders Daniel and Paulette. They in turn are supported by a volunteer Board of Directors.
