“Matt's Place aka the 631 Legion in Collins Bay, is a very underrated spot. The little pub is a very nice spot with a kitchen during the day and frequently entertainment in the evenings. The bar is comfortable, stylish and very well priced. The staff are all wonderful and friendly. I think the legion gets a reputation as being for "old people" bit this spot is definitely worth giving a chance.”

“We had a daily pizza special (not on menu) and Warm Spinach Salad w/Chicken. Pizza was okay - would choose a burger next time, the ones I saw come out looked good (lamb burger next time!). It was all served surprising quickly for the amount of people there. Servers were great, quick, attentive and friendly. Came back many times to confirm everything was good and she was extremely busy.”

“This is a high end restaurant in the west end of Kingston. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. The owner, a well known, amazingly creative chef, was welcoming and visited our table several times during our stay to ensure that we all enjoyed our meals. Our evening at Bayview was very special! Great food great service make sure you have reservations well in advance it is worth the wait. A truly unique cuisine on the west end of Kingston.”

Definitely is the better Chinese food option for this area (I’ve tried the others in the area, this one wins by a landslide) The décor in the restaurant could use some sprucing but the main objective is the food. “We order here fairly frequently and it's usually a quality product that's ready when it's supposed to be. On my most recent visit, however, I overheard employees complaining to one another that someone ordered carry-out and didn't tip. That didn't sit well with me. Also, an online order I made in advance was over 10 minutes late being made because they forgot to make one of my pizzas, though no one told me after I paid so I ended up standing there like a goof for several minutes, staring at the "ready" on the screen and wondering what was happening.”

“This is the best Quiznos I’ve ever been too! The owner made my sandwich, and it was amazing! He is so friendly and smiley. They actually put your green peppers(which I saw that they cut in store!!) etc on your sandwich first then put it through the toaster, I’m not sure if this is standard or not because I’ve been to other Quiznos where they don’t do this!! Also they wait until your sandwich is done to heat your cookie! 5 stars for great food and 5 stars for friendly fast customer service! Highly recommend.”

“Waitress was grumpy last time I was in. Usually the service is better. Always enjoy the food and beer. Atmosphere is great and usually busy. Lots of free parking. Deep fried pickles were a hit. “Great food here! Pizza has a healthy amount of cheese and their slices are almost always fresh when I go in there. The garlic bread with cheese is delicious. There was one incident where I ordered a garlic bread with cheese and it was on a sub bun where it was cooked and closed up so I had to eat it like a sub but that was an isolated incident. All around, decent staff and decent food!”

“With only 2 days notice Saber's hosted my birthday dinner of 18 people with fantastic food that was enjoyed by all including 2 of my guests who lived in India for several years. The service was great and the value was excellent. I also appreciated that Saber came out to check on us personally several times. “The service here was impeccable. The menu was varied. You could have something extra healthy like eggs and Fruit...or go full tilt with sweetened waffles loaded with cream and your fruit of choice. “I'm a regular customer at your Kingston location in the Cataraqui town center. Jimmy the Greek is my go to place when I eat at the mall every Thursday with my family. I have unfortunately stopped going there because of the rude service I have received by (I apologize for not knowing her name) the Asian lady. I have given her the benefit of the doubt on many occasions but it is getting worse. She does not acknowledge customers when they approach the counter, her manners are very far and few in between. On one occasion I asked for an extra plate so i could share my food with my son and even offered to pay for it. She refused to give me a plate so I had to go elsewhere to get one. My mom has also stopped going there as your associate will not speak a single word from the beginning of the transaction to the end. I'm not sure if there is something going on in her personal life but her attitude and spilling over to customers and it's awful. Lastly, when you get to the till she does not give you your total, regardless if it is on the screen, she just stands there and stares. When you hand her the money, to her hand, she just slams my change in the counter. This is pretty much the only restaurant in the mall I enjoy so hopefully something can be resolved so I can start eating there ag”
