“After a late work day, I was just looking for some place open to grab something to eat. I went into this Harvey's location and soon realized I was the jerk who walked in when they were still technically open, but preparing to close and probably even started to clean. They explained my order would be just under 5 mins and I was happy to wait. Watching the guy cook my burger was amazing. I felt like I was watching a chorographed dance routine, as he prepared my order. I know it's what he does all day long, but he was doing this just for ME, and putting every ounce of effort he had in to it. What an amazing staff. I didn't even think I liked Harvey's. Maybe the recipes have changed, or maybe I just like this Harvey's. I'll be back, and Thank You.”

“This is my go-to place when I have guests visiting from out of town. The service is always top-notch, and the serving sizes are huge! The dinner for two is incredible, and it's almost impossible to finish all of it. The staff is very friendly, and the owner makes sure to come by and ask how things are going. It's a wonderful atmosphere, and although they can be busy at times, I have never had trouble getting a seat. Even when it's full, it's very easy to hear the people you are sitting with, so conversation can run smoothly. Their food is amazing, and it's authentic. Their prices are reasonable considering the amount of food that you are getting. If you haven't visited the Greek Islands restaurant, try it out, you won't be disappointed!”

When asked, the server said not everyone has a lot of money to tip, so we keep that off so that nobody feels bad. Really nice service and good *quantity* food, quality wise - 3/5. “Best fried chicken restaurant. Excellent food. In case you haven't tried, try Cajun chicken sandwich and ghost pepper wings. The gravy is unbeatable and has little chicken bits in it. I found a server a bit racist though which really worsened my experience. Overall great restaurant though.”

“This is oddest and smallest sushi place I have ever been to. The service is like at a high end restaurant. The sushi chef walks you through the menu. It is kind of cute that the orders are called out to kitchen and then repeated back. The place is so small the staff are almost on top of one another. This is the BEST sushi I have had anywhere! My kid had one small complaint. He wanted the sauce on the teriyaki sauce to be a bit more flavourful. Wished I lived locally. I would be eating there all the time.”

“Located in Kingston this is basically a take away place- the owner though served us food at the shop itself. Very tasty food and the portions were good. The gentleman ( owner I believe) was very accommodating and warm. The menu is not really extensive but it makes up on taste. Cost I felt was average. There is a parking lot available too and it's free.”

“On a business trip to Kingston I had a wonderfully prepared breakfast two days in a row at this location. Way better than what I had at my hotel. Everything was made to order, eggs cooked perfectly and the service was very quick. Food brought to my table by one of the friendliest servers I’ve had to pleasure of dealing with, a lady by the name of Brook. Second morning there, she actually remembered my name. Which was surprising and made me feel right at home. Thank you Brook, you made my day! Great A & W location, great food and wonderful service.”

“Visited this restaurant twice. It has a very homey atmosphere with antiques, stuffed birds and animals on the log-walls. It has plenty of parking either on site or at a nearby shopping area. The washrooms are clean. Service was great and attentive. We had several dishes, fish and chips, half dip, chicken vegetable wrap, smoked meat. In all cases the food suffered from lack of heat. The meals come from somewhere unseen and it might be too far to assure it's hot. The food is reasonably priced, but I found the coleslaw seemed "'off" and their fish sauce lacked zip. The cheese cake was small for the price. In all, a great place to go for a meal, especially for the atmosphere which includes real fireplaces.”

“I went in late the other night to Papa John's with a couple friends. We were greeted by a very friendly employee, Emily. Out of curiosity, I asked what time they were open until to which she responded 11pm. I checked the time and it was 10:58.... not ideal for an employee trying to close. Nonetheless, Emily assured us that she could prepare our order. She got our order ready promptly, and the food was delicious! The whole time Emily was very friendly and personable with us. Great staff like such are hard to find, but Emily made our experience that much better. Thank you!”

“It's a fairly dingy hole in the wall with the most tasty chicken feet. If you're going expecting pristine conditions you'll be disappointed. Dishes, bathroom and dining area could certainly be cleaner. We found that most dishes lacked lustre, flavour and pride in presentation. I'd go again - but only for the chicken feet. :)”
