Andrew's Roots Restaurant

I had the Cricket Burger (yes, you read that correctly... Cricket, as in bugs) and my wife had the Pad Thai. Both were Excellent. As was the service!

Food was fabulous. Service was very pleasant & efficient. Our Server was an upbeat & smiling professional. She was great! Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Unique twist on puttanesca (over white beans) and a rich tasting potato soup with lots of ricotta cheese. However showstopper was the caramel chocolate torte. We loved it!

We had a large 80th b-day dinner, 14 adults, 3 kids. The food was excellent, the staff did an amazing job. Can't thank them enough. Couldn't have been better. Best service I think I've ever had. Food was so good. Yum.

I'm unsure if my husband and I went to another restaurant than the other reviews, but the food just isn't very good. I got the Pad Thai, and without a doubt, the chef who made it has never had Pad Thai. It was a pale colour and mostly butter with lime. Likewise, the fish tacos were just not very good - they has way too much going on and would have benefited from having at least 5 of the 30000 ingredients in it removed. The restaurant feels like someone who had the money to open a restaurant but didn't really understand how to cook but knows what looks 'fancy'.

If you're hungry and in a pinch, this place will do but if you want to save your money and enjoy your meal fully, you're better off going to a pub and trying out their food.
