Hearty.Homey.Comfy. This is my on going spot all the time! Their broth of Udon is truly amazing. I can tell the flavour comes from radish and onion and many veges with long hours simmering. It is earthy but sweet. Once you sip after skiing or any winter activity at the blue mountain, you will be blown away. Sushi are always fresh and the service is impeccable. Happy dining!
Great little sushi place in the village with a quiet and inviting atmosphere. Food was good, service was accommodating and professional, and the setting was nice and quiet which was very appreciated in a loud and often busy tourist area. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants good sushi and a relaxing evening
My husband and I love the sushi at Kikaku! We go there about 3 times a month and their sushi is the best! We were recently in Vancouver, sushi capital, and went to the best sushi restaurant and we still say Kikaku at Blue Mountain Village is the best! Everything is prepared after ordering making it so fresh and delicious! The restaurant is run by a lovely couple and their son. They work very hard and only want the best for their customers. We highly recommend Kikaku!
We called for takeout 15 minutes before closing and they made our order super fast!
It was really tasty too, especially the edamame!
Friendly service and food/sushi came out at an acceptable time. However, do not order the "chicken in the hot pot" - it was bland and came with such small portions and very few vegetables. The sushi rolls were decent though!
