“Great little place on the east side of highway 35. Come for the fish and chips, stay for the Kawartha dairy dessert. I've been coming here since I was a child, place is run by the same, very friendly people. Always a joy to eat in the outdoors on the bench overlooking the lake (sort-of). Check out the photos for this place, you can see their menu. Don't think it's changed much since the 90s. These folks are making a few different things really, really well.”

“Absolutely amazing! They provide a variety of different accommodations to suit everyone. Pet friendly which is awesome! Lots of activities for kids as well. The staff members go above and beyond for their guests. The food is delicious! Mike puts his heart and soul into whatever dish he cooks. I've gone twice this summer, and I'm planning on going there throughout the entire year. Definitely recommend staying here for a nice little get away.”

“A beautiful wlnter get-away! We stayed in a 2 bedroom Bonnie View Cabin to enjoy the excellent meals and comfortable, warm cabin within easy distance of Sir Sam's ski hill. Also enjoyed the ice rink right in front of the lodge, on the lake. Friendly staff and Excellent service. A beautiful, relaxing setting.”

“First visit. Burgers, soup & salad were amazing! Loved the fresh flavours. The baked goods (tried two squares, two cookies and fudge) were unfortunately disappointing. Cookies were hard, fudge was a block of gritty sugar and the squares seemed undercooked. But we will be back for the food!”

“This place has character. I mean that in a good way. The building is old and there is lots of memorabilia. The inside dining room is not huge but they do have outside dining. The staff is friendly and accommodating. This was only my second experience with Thai food but the dishes that we had were delicious. They do not have a liquor license. The only issue was that it took a long time to get the food to the table. This place is extremely popular and therefore very busy. The chef (and owner?) works very hard making her excellant (and authentic Thai I am told) meals. And if you love Thai its worth the wait. I will go again. There are a lot of other dishes I want to try.”
