August 8 Stoney Creek

This restaurant is the most frequently visited place by my family. My daughter loves it so much that she even wanted to celebrate her 12th Birthday party there with friends and family. Normally, I don't really write reviews, returning back all the time speaks for itself, however, reading some of the negative ones that I have never experienced at this place makes me share our positive experiences:
- the food is always delicious and we are happy with the selection that they have.
-you can see how hard the staff is working, clearing tables, serving food while making sure that all your needs are met.
-even during very busy times, it seems that they are prepared to meet and exceed your expectations. At least you can see the effort that they are always trying their best.
In summary, compared to all the other places that we have visited, we are very satisfied with everything that this place can offer. It remains our favourite place that we will visit very often. The only negative is that we always eat more than what we are supposed to, we just can't control ourselves:)

This is such a popular restaurant, it is always busy! That is a great sign. We just moved into the area and I must say this is our new spot to go to. We heard a lot about this restaurant and wanted to give it a try. The food is delicious and the service is very good. The staff are friendly and the managers are very helpful too.

Being a first time customer to this restaurant, it has met our expectation far and beyond. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.

My absolute favourite place for Asian/fusion food! I usually go to the one on upper James which was closed for renovations, so we came here instead and this location is just as amazing!

Highly recommended for anyone who likes sushi, but also a good amount of options for those who are less adventurous!

P.S. if you haven't, try the eel, its tender and delicious!!

I have not been to August 8 in a while. Two friends and I went for dinner and I expected it to be long wait for our meal. The staff was courteous and attentive and the food was out quickly. The food tasted great and I ate far too much! I will definitely be back. Thanks for a great evening
