Caribbean Canadian Restaurant

Went there for lunch yesterday and the food was amazing!! The woman working there is super friendly and knows everybody. The portions are huge and reasonably priced. No wonder people come from all over the city to eat here. If I could give more stars I would.

We took up this recommendation a few months ago. The very best Caribbean food we've had outside the Caribbean. Never disappoints. In fact it's amongst our favorite places to eat. We love it .
Large portions.

Ordered the jerk chicken with rice and it was delicious. Received two large pieces of chicken with a ton of rice and cole slaw. The jerk seasoning was flavourful and spicy but not overbearingly so (though I can see it being hot for someone who doesn't eat much spicy food).
I see a lot of reviews saying the wait is long but I went in at 4:45pm without calling ahead and walked out at 5, which I would say is a more than reasonable wait time. I'd definitely go back and try other items.

Sandra's chicken roti is the #1 thing my husband and I have been missing about Hamilton since we moved away in 2012. I had it today for the first time since then and it was SO good. So tender. So flavourful. So much food! I'm going to pick up another order for my hubs before I leave town. She even remembered me! Lovely lady. Delicious food. Great value. Enjoy!!

Unreal jerk chicken and chicken roti. Hands down the best Caribbean food we have ever had back home. The owner is funny and super nice and she makes us feel like we were back in the islands with the way she cooks the chicken and spices it. My fiancee and I will definitely be repeat customers. The portions are huge and the price is perfect. Not to be missed!
