Great food. Great atmosphere! Wonderful service. Will return!

Last night a group of us went to Cavello Nero for the first time. It was an amazing experience! The place itself was clean and comfortable, with a really great vibe. There was live music, a pianist and cellist, which really added to the atmosphere. Our server, Melody, was amazing! She was bright and fun, knew the menu items extremely well, was able to answer all of our questions, and really made the night so much fun. She was attentive without being over-bearing and super polite. It makes me want to be her friend! :)

The food was freaking amazing. We had 5 different appetizers, our main courses and finished off with dessert. Every item was delicious and better than described. The portion sizes are big, the hot food was piping, and the cool food was crisp and fresh. The desserts are hand crafted by the amazing French Bakery Caniche which is next door, and they were as good as always! For the amount of food you get, the quality of ingredients and the service, the prices are not too high in my opinion. The pasta entree's are only a few dollars more than any chain restaurant. It is well worth it.

So basically, TL;DR - Go eat here and make sure Melody is your server. Best ever!!!

The chicken pesto pizza and the veal parmigiana were both very well done. The patio was a bit noisy between all the stone surfaces, busy street and music. Service was pleasant and timely.
