Culantro Peruvian Cookery

After driving past this restaurant for many years, we finally decided to make a visit. What a good choice. The service was excellent, our waiter was very informed, the menu offered many choices, and the drinks were well-priced. We had the lamb and the flank steak, both were very tender and extremely tasty. The yukka fries, that came with my meal were a delight. The decor of the restaurant is simple, but very clean and inviting. The prices were moderate, even including the tip. I would recommend this tasty find wholeheartedly.

Chef Juan is the bomb. Amazing experience, cant wait until the next time I go! Would give 6 stars if possible.

Very good service. Server was very nice and explained what everything was. It also was spotless clean and the food was amazing! I would for sure eat there again and recommend them.

Dropped in for dinner on a Tuesday. Open mic night was surprisingly cool. Good fun atmosphere. Appetizers were amazing! Main course was a light on flavour. Great experience all around.

Incredible atmosphere, service and cuisine!

I popped in on a whim today for lunch, and I am so happy that I did! Culantro is an absolute gem of a place which deserves even more patronage. Somehow Culantro has managed the tricky balance of serving passionately made, authentic Peruvian food, with creative flair. The atmosphere is so personable and friendly! I noticed that there seemed to be a lot of regulars as well. Susan was my Server, and she was great. Personable, yet professional. I also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Juan, who came out to greet me, and he even created a special Vegetarian Plate just for me! I ordered that, as well as the Vegetarian Appetizer Combo, which was a meal in itself. I will definitely be back and look forward to bringing friends and family! Thank you Culantro. ????
