Excellent fish and chips prices are fair the people are really friendly

Great fish and chips place! Your typical mom and pops place in the neighborhood. Batter on fish are not too thick and the fries are good (goes great with gravy). You can't really go wrong with ordering the basics. Haven't try their other menu items. Good value too.

My sister Kim and I have made it a habit to go out for lunch once a week when she is off of work. We have several places that we love to go but Golden Fish and Chips is always one of our favourites. The decor is lovely,clean and spotless,and so are the bathrooms. The food is amazing and the service is attentive and friendly. We love eating in because it has such a lovely atmosphere. The specials through the week are really excellent and so are the portions. The best part of all is the price. Even a large family could afford to eat here. They have definitely got the best fish and chips that we have ever eaten. Thanks again for such a great meal at such a great price.

The fish was excellent. Nice light batter. However, the chicken nuggets were way over done. Also the staff could be friendlier. A smile would help.

Crispy and flavourful without being too greasy. Clean dining area that has been kept up well over the years that results in a neat throwback feel, complete with a hand-painted mural. Different specials are offered a few days of the week that provide additional value to already reasonable prices.
