Hammerhead's

Great fish and chips. I like how you can pay more or less based on the type of fish or the number of pieces. Great place for pick up, but can dine at quite a tiny 'cozy' table inside or table outside in nice weather.

(edited review) This place was good they put onion in everything though witch wasn't to bad we enjoyed that the fish was a lil bit slimy under the fish batter that's why I only gave them 3 stars but in my opinion it was worth the just over $20 dollars on Tuesdays for there three-piece haddock and chips and a lg coleslaw I also added a lg gravy witch had onion as well yummy I would try this place if you like fish and Chips. (Edit, After giving Hammerheads another try I'm happy to say that they have earned 5 stars the fish was perfect this time and I look forward to eating there again and again! Thank you Scott!)

Hammerhead's is absolutely phenomenal !! I've never had such amazing fish and chips! Gluten free too !!! Will definitely go back. The fish was light with not a thick batter....fries were delicious and the best coleslaw I've had. You have to try this place.

OMG! Oh my god! The fish and chips here are truly outstanding!! The fish is deep fried to perfection, and the batter is light and airy. The fries are also done spectacularly! The tartar sauce complements the fish extremely well, and the flap outs of the coleslaw are amazing!

This is one exceptional meal, and the service from the owner Scott is second to none!

You would be well-served to eat here often! I highly recommend it, and I crown it the Best Fish & Chips I’ve had in Ontario, and it rates amongst the best fish & chips I’ve ever had in my life!!!

I am a lover of fish and chips, and Hammerheads did not disappoint. The owner was present making the meals on my visit. He is very pleasant and knowledgeable. I love that he uses Canadian sourced fresh ingredients. I was lucky enough to have been invited for lunch as I never knew this place existed. The fish was fried perfectly with the right amount of batter and crispness with a moist flaky fish inside. The fires were delicious and crispy how I like them. One of the best coleslaws I’ve eaten, right amount of spices and mayo, and the tartar sauce was on point!. Will be back for sure. Take note that this place has very limited seating indoors and a few tables outside and only street parking. Keep an eye out for some weekly specials. Also there are items you can buy to take home like soups and smoked fish. If you want fish and chips this IS the place to go to.
