If you want turn back the clock to the 1960's and experience what it was like to eat at your nonna's place come here. Roberto and his sweet wife, both in their 80's, prepare everything from scratch and their food is served fresh from kitchen to table. This is not fast food and when it's busy expect the service to be "adagio"( leisurely). The decor is humble but colourful, offering a visual feast of family portraits, Italian nostalgia posters and ever present RAI TV running in the background. Durable plastic clad seating and indestructible ceramic tile floors remind you that the owners plan to be around for a long while . The food is simple, tasty ,served in abundant portions and priced reasonably. This is not modern Italian cuisine but, as the restaurant name clearly proclaims, rustic country fare prepared with love and "gusto".

Family run. Rustic. Made to order, fresh. Friendly folks. Feels good, nostalgic. Check hours before visiting.

If I had an Italian Nona, this would be like going to eat at her house.

Quaint dining experience in an informal setting. The walls are lined with old italian tourism posters and pictures of friends and family.

Don't expect a typical dining experience with a huge menu. Dine-in menu is usually limited to veal or chicken parm with side selection of pasta, or gnocchi. The pasta is fresh and is made in-house.

The stuffed olives are to die for and are also made in-house.
The catered lasagna has more layers than I can count and easily serves 6-8 people.

Authentic food made with skill and love. Veal sandwich to go any time I'm driving by. Dinner would require an Uber because you're going to enjoy yourself
