Stonewalls Restaurant

I ordered the beef sandwich lunch special with salad and a soup. I’m not sure who was working the kitchen but they should be recognized. Everyone enjoyed their meal!! The chicken corn chowder soup was great. The salad was fresh and included cucumber, carrots, baby tomatoes and a mixture of lettuce. The beef on a bun was also a hit with a very soft bun. The wait staff was very organized and attentive. This was my first visit and won’t be my last.

Smart business move to get people inside on obvious slow night. Although they were all painting the same thing people seemed to be enjoying themselves, sitting side by side on both sides of table which spanned a long ways down the middle of the restaurant, very impressive. It didn't intrude on the rest of the restaurant as there was a long stand up chair rail bar that almost stretched as far as this middle table where people could sit,

Very delightfully surprised. Gathered with friends after attending a celebration of a passing friend. Large eloquent restaurant and bar with a outdoor patio. We gathered on the very spacious patio, while at the same time inside many people were painting a landscape. Smart business move to get people inside on obvious slow night. It didn't intrude on the rest of the restaurant as there was a long stand up chair rail bar that almost stretched as far as this middle table where people could sit, stand or order drinks and many booths and tables behind this middle table. Our friends family had graciously ordered and provided food which was outstanding. Platters full of appetizers including fried chicken, breaded chicken ,fried dill pickles, sweet potato fries, nachos, cheese bread loaf and more and I counted 5 different dipping sauces. What a supreme tasty treat. Of course they were able to handle serving a large order of tequila shots to that our dear friend too! Cheers to Doug and thanks to Art. We celebrated and reminisced in fine style in honour of Doug.

I have always liked this place. The sound is great for the live bands they host. The ownership has changed and they had a Greek inspired menu and now it’s more pub type food. Service is attentive and efficient. I would recommend this establishment for a date, night out with friends or a nice lunch on the patio.
