After driving around for a while looking for a place to eat, someone said: "down the street, there is a restaurant that has been there forever - Let's try it"
So, Bedrock Bistro it is.
I was not sure what to expect, but there were a lot of people in the restaurant, so I assumed it couldn't be too bad.
I ordered the steak special, which came with potato and veggies.
The steak arrived and it was huge - and properly cooked. It was Well seasoned and well flavoured. The vegetables were corn and peas, and they were very fresh, bright, and NOT overcooked.
The baked potato was also perfectly cooked.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the freshness of ingredients, the proper cooking, and the flavour.
My husband had the chicken fajitas and they were perfectly done - Maybe the
The service was decent, and the prices were reasonable.
This is a great little place to enjoy a good meal. It is easy to overlook the Flintstones bistro but, seriously. - it exceeded all of my expectations.
Just go and eat here. You won't be disappointed.
This is my favorite restaurant in the Hamilton area, hands down!! They have an excellent selection of food choices and very generous portions with great value for your money, the servers are very friendly and their dining area is very comfortable. I have tried so many different items here that it is very difficult to describe which dish is a favorite, but to pick one I say try their chicken burger. It is huge and mouth watering that you will want to come back very soon!!
Great option for breakfast and brunch. Very busy on weekends. Great quality food and good portion sizes. We have liked everything we have ordered here. My favorite for a sweet breakfast is the strawberry waffle. For savory I like their eggs Benedict. My husband likes the Steel City Slammer.
Came here for lunch with family. They said this place was a hidden gem and they were so right. The food is really yummy and the service was phenomenal. We were a pretty big group of 11 and felt very welcomed.
The fish and chips was the star of the show. The fries here are delicious and always say yes to the gravy!
Third experience here, even better. I love this place so much. Sheryl was an amazing server. She really made the whole experience.
I've been here twice now. The first time was amazing. The second time, the service was awful. I guess it depends on who you get as a server. Either way, the prices are AMAZING and so is the food. The portions are HUGE and it's not even expensive. I do recommend visiting.
