My liver and bacon was superb however Marilyn’s prime rib was questionable. Our recommendation would be to splurge another $5 and order prime rib on a la carte menu!
The prime rib special was tough and over cooked.
We will return and try fish and chips plus prime rib for $25

Always superb servers. Friendly, attentive, even when run off their feet. Meals have always been hot and tasty. It's been our go to place for lunches, family get togethers, or just coffee/tea and dessert. Just a nice place all around.

Excellent meal! Very nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly. Will definitely return! We didn't have a reservation but were not disappointed with our table. Will reserve next time.

I've been coming here for a few years now. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are all very friendly and the food is fantastic. The bread rolls are always warm and fresh, the butter is perfectly soft and never hard like it just spent 5 hours in the freezer. If you order a steak, they include the cooked mushrooms with the meal. There's no extra charge for the mushrooms, which is wonderful as many other restaurants I've come across do charge you extra. Also all mushrooms and other vegetables are always fresh, never the frozen or canned kinds. I even came in with some family on my birthday and they brought me over a free slice of cake and sang happy birthday. Plus I'm not a big drinker but I do enjoy having a cocktail every so often and they do those very well too.
