LINDSAY'S AROMA . First Indian Restaurant in Lindsay. Butterchic

good eats, good price - Went here a week or so back and loved the food. We went in specifically for the Indian but only ended with samosas to start - american for entrees. We both regretted it. The somosas were delicious and probably a food indicator we should have stuck to our guns. The gentleman who waited on us was very friendly and attentive. Food was fairly price. Cant wait to go back for the full Indian experience :)

I want to love this place - lovely people, friendly service - but the food doesn't always feel authentic, rather more like an interpretation of what the owners think the town can handle.

At every stage I'm asked "too spicy?" and always the answer is no.

Flavour is missing from what it should be - would be great if they adopted a wing place system of mild/medium and authentic. Not interested in your interpretation of what you think local folk can handle, I came to eat your food made your way! Hell, the Biryani and Curries I make at home has more flavour - that's not right!

Please let me know when you start making it authentic, and we'll all come back!

Great service! The waiter forgot to grab my milk for my coffee which I didn't even notice and at the end of our meal he brought us free samosas for it. Besides the outstanding service the food was amazing and a great mix of Indian food and food you'd normally find in a bar and grill. This was great as most of my family who came is not big on Indian food. They got what they wanted and I got what i wanted. Overall would really recommend this place.

Lindsay's aroma is amazing! I am normally not one to venture outside my food comfort zone (i am picky) but i thought worth a shot and cant wait to go back. The owner was very attentive making sure we had all we needed. He interacted with my friend's young daughter very patient while she placed her order. I highly recommend it.
