“One word: Fantastic. After the Festival of Trees we were looking for somewhere to eat but the first two places we went by were full. Stopped off at Just for the Halibut and it was full but luckily a table was just leaving. From the outside the place looked unremarkable but we were hungry and we had 6 adults and two kids so we weren't driving around any longer. Immediately impressed by our server. Super friendly and down to earth. Very prompt with getting menus, drinks and food out. The menu was impressive on its own. The variety was staggering. I figured at first glance it was going to be a limited menu fish and chip place but I was sorely mistaken. The food was incredible. I've never had battered fish so properly cooked. Flaky, light and perfectly cooked meat. Beer menu was impressive with lots of craft variety on tap. The server got beer out way quicker than any restaurant I've been to in recent memory. 100% will go back soon. There's so much more on the menu that I need to try. You won't be disappointed.”

“What a unique restaurant. Wonderful, creative food. I am about 1 hour away and have been many times. I always take a different friend and they all love it. The only concern I have is the server. He is more often than not very curt. Maybe an extra server at especially busy times would help.”
