Had the halibut fish and chips which was fantastic. Recommend eating at the picnic tables behind the restaurant. Owner even delivered food to us.

Recently dined at the Riverbank Cookhouse this past weekend. As a vegetarian, I was concerned that it would be hard to find a full, hearty meal (more than fries) in a smaller town. This restaurant had a delicious veggie burger, and the chef made it just the way I requested it. The side fries were also delicious! Service was fast, friendly and the restaurant provided excellent value. My boyfriend had (and really enjoyed) the fish and chips. Will definitely be back next time I am in the area. My only complaint is that they were only open one day a week.

Owners are very humble and genuine people. Simple and clean place to eat. You won't be disappointed.
