It's not a real big casino, they have a restaurant and a bar. There's some card tables with a real dealer, not the virtual dealer. There's penny slots, nickle and quarter slots too. It's right along the river near the border crossing bridge so it's very easy to find. It's right off the 402 right before the bridge. There's a nice walkway to walk along the river to the opening of lake Huron to go for a walk after or before.
Went on a weekday afternoon. Slots are tight compared to all other casinos in Ontario I have been to (Flamboro, London, Dresden Mohawk, Niagara). This makes playing a bit boring and not engaging enough. The quality and atmosphere of lunch buffet was close to cafeteria style but costs only $15, taxes all in. You cannot have a weak stomach or be too finicky eating at the buffet. Worst part is the dessert/pastry. Best part were the sliders (mini burgers) and home fries. There was no ice cream machine or pizza. Decor was nice like that of a quick serve casual chain restaurant but only one wait staff who also acts as cashier/greeter made the guest experience very poor. Given how much the casino makes on the casino floor it should take a loss on staffing during slow times to maintain quality of service standards. Many casinos operate the buffet as a loss leader to get people to visit but this one does not. That said I would go back again to walk on the river boardwalk next to the building on a sunny summer afternoon - very nice location to visit.
Use to enjoy night out have dinner and play at casino. They got rid of all the good food. Plus doesn't pay out at all. No fun now.
The new restaurant at the Point Edward location is open to the public and allows children. It features a daily special drawn from their menu of specially and uniquely prepared dishes to excite the palate. There is an outdoor patio attached and the dining view whether indoors or out is of a beautiful waterfront!!
