Dancing Moon Gallery & Tea Room

For my trip back in Aug 2018:

This was such a lovely find on a hot summer day, during our day trip! It has a beautiful English tea vibe, and the artwork within is just divine. 

The tea was delicious (gorgeous china too), and the scones were amazing. Soft, warm, and the perfect balance of savoury and sweet with the cream, butter, and jam. I didn't get the dessert or sandwiches but they looked amazing and I definitely want to for next time. 

The staff was lovely. They are such wonderful people that clearly just want you to have a good time and take care of your stay. I have to admit, we did the awkward thing of filling up our water bottle with our leftover glasses of water. The man that works there noticed, and instead of judging us, ended up offering when we perused the gallery, to fill up our water bottle with fresh water and ice. It's the sweet little things like this that will make me come back whenever I'm in town!

Also, they give you this little piece of homemade chocolate at the end, which is also so delicious and the perfect balance of savoury and sweet

We stumbled upon the Dancing Moon Tea Room and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. We had the Queen Victoria afternoon tea in comfortable chairs. We left so full! The owner paid attention to detail and made sure we enjoyed every moment of our experience here.

An outstanding high tea! The scone with peach jam was like eating a cloud! Impeccable service which was attentive without being obtrusive by a sweet husband and wife team. I treated my friend for her birthday and we had a lovely experience! The varied sandwiches were fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, and all the jams were made from scratch with seasonal fruits. We were so full after the Victorian tea for two that we barely had room for the dark chocolate with dried fruits and nuts treat served at the end!

I could not believe how amazing my experience was here. The friendliest most attentive hosts ever. Food was outstanding. The tea was great. Everything was fresh and delicious. Could not recommend a place more for tea.

My mom and I just stopped by this tea room for lunch and we loved it! The ambiance was outstanding. It was quaint, decorated with very tasteful, local art, and the food was to die for. We ordered the Victorian for two, which was a steal for all the incredible little finger foods and sandwiches they served (on an adorable, tiered serving tray, no less). I'm a vegetarian and the lady who served us (and she also made the food) enthusiastically prepared some delicious meat-free sandwiches for me. My favorites were the brie with peach compote sandwiches and my mom's favorites were the chicken pecan sandwiches and the curried shrimp with chives sandwiches. The presentation of the food, the bits of fruit, the delightful tarts, quiches and scones were all amazing. The two people who attended us--the owners, I believe--were so incredibly kind. I highly recommend making a reservation here... or if you're passing by, you should definitely stop in!
