Service was outstanding. The menu is a hilarious blast from the past. There isn't anything particularly special but the vinyl booths and quirky regulars make it feel like you're in a movie or a alternate reality. Food was hot and fresh and simple. Loved the history about the place. Nothing fancy, but a solid diner.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Easily 25 years now. They deserve a restaurant makeover or something. Lol. But they're classic, familiar, delicious and always courteous. I'll always come back here.

Went for breakfast this morning with a friend. Server was fantastic - friendly, good sense of humour. Was quick with water refills. My order was lightning quick to arrive (and the restaurant was reasonably busy!) Order was correct. Food was hot, and tasty. Prices were very reasonable. Great experience. Will very likely be back again.

Fantastic restaurant for a big breakfast meal. The price is cheap. The amount of food is on par for what you'd expect. No special bells or whistles here. You get exactly what you'd think and it's delicious because its what you want. The place can easily get crowded and its self seating so I will usually skip it if its busy.

Was a good visit...nothing less than what's expected from a classic and historical diner such as this. Wasn't busy whatsoever so service was good although a tad slow from the kitchen. This was politely acknowledged by our waitress who apologized for the delay. Food was decent. I had the Western Sandwich, a western style egg omelette in a toasted sandwich. Lots of egg so I was happy about that. Of course I'll be back to test drive a few more dishes.
Bonus was that the owner Gus was there sitting in one of the booths. His old black and white photos are on the walls and in the menu, from days gone by. He's an old fella now but still very much a part of his great diner.
