French fries are the best around. Fresh cut and perfectly browned.
The gravy is not as beefy and flavourful as the gravy of your predecessor Please return to that recipe.
The chicken fingers are awesome, flavourful and nice chicken sliced not as thick as usual chicken fingers. My friend has asked me to bring her back there for the chicken fingers.
We went there the day after Labor Day this year. Whoever the cook was really knew how to cook and present the dishes.
The cabbage roll I had didn’t taste quite the same as the old ones. Disappointed.
The pies under glass were very dried out and so we did not have dessert.
The restaurant is very noisy when there’s a full house. All in all, I’ll still go back for more but I hope you will consider my suggestions.
The service is great and so is the food. My favourite is the meatloaf and coconut cream pie. U have to sit when u eat the pie cause if not u will lose your balance cause it's that amazing! This is a must see place if u like good home cooked meals. Little pricey but you get over it quickly when u eat there. I love this place!!
First time going to The Little Beaver since it moved. Service was slow, confused & frustrating. Good honest Friendly Service used to be one of there strongest points. Now it feels like the customer is an inconvenience. The Server was perhaps very new and unskilled. Ordering a Clubhouse is usually not a complicated matter. It arrived different than order, not surprisingly. However was still good quality. Getting a second cup of coffee or even serviettes let alone cutlery took several times getting up to ask. Take time time to train staff and ensure there is adequate staffing for busy Sundays. If this was my first time ever at Little Beaver, I'd never return. I have confidence they will regain their prior excellent service and will try them again...and again before giving up on them.
Still a great place to grab a bite. Large portions but it isn't cheap. Had dinner this time and the club sandwich was great. Was disappointed with the breakfast last time there. Never saw sausages served sliced in half lengthwise. You actually get 1 and a half sausages. That is beyond cheap. Most places give at least 2 or three whole. So I'm really undecided whether I'll drive out from London again. The server was a sweetheart by the way.
