our group of 4 stopped here for dinner one night. Pricing was average as it what we would normally pay. Food came out hot and lots of it. The portions were worth every penny. The lady waiting on us never rushed us when ordering or to leave afterward as we sat and talked. I would definetly go back.

I dropped in for a quick lunch and discovered that they made a curried beef dish, so I ordered one. When it arrived it was HUGE and made up with lightly cooked green peppers, red peppers, onions and beef in a brown curry sauce. It was spicy enough for most people but the finest part was the beef.

The beef was finely sliced, oh so tender, with a wonderful flavor. The combination of the flavors, the crispness of the fresh vegetables, and the colors all combined into a masterpiece. Bravo.

Best chicken balls in Muskoka. Food fast and superdelicious. The place was packed and the phone for take out was ringing constantly. Go during a casual time if you need hands on service. Owner was incredible with her capacity to juggle. Plates of food huge- you will be bringing some home.

In small town Chinese restaurants, the diner's experience is all about what he or she orders. Sure, those who want the classic Chinese diner experience can order sweet and sour chicken balls, and will get what they expect.

The Rickshaw Restaurant actually has a wider range of selections. My father chose Cantonese Chow Mein (Egg Noodles), and the alert waitress brought the shrimp in a side dish overhearing that I'm allergic to them. (We didn't actually ask for that!) For a vegan dish, I had the Peanut Sauce Bean Curd (Tofu), that includes some broccoli, so I wasn't unhappy that I didn't order a side vegetable dish. My wife ordered the Thai Style Red Curry Beef, which was a little bit spicy.

The food was well-prepared in the typical Cantonese-Canadian style, and came hot to the table. The portion sizes are large, and prices are reasonable. We noticed that the waitress keeps busy with other tasks, but as soon as I raised my voice to ask for the cheque, she immediately came to us.

This restaurant can satisfy the nostalgic diner, and those with more adventurous tastes.

Had a hard time finding a really good chinese food place in Muskoka. Decided to try it on a whim and I have to say I was definitely NOT disappointed. Great friendly staff, food was served extremely quick. The food was very hot and fresh with amazing flavors and very large portions. I would definitely recommend The Rickshaw to anyone and everyone!
