“Classic old-style foot-long hotdogs, burgers and fries. Great location just walking distance to the beach. Outdoor seating available at the side, lots of parking. Wide selection of toppings that you help yourself to. Been coming here with my family since I was a kid & I enjoy it just as much now. Golden Glow is a must, and they have a variety of flavours other than orange. This is a summer destination tradition!”

“Fish was tasty. Service was aweful. They forgot our appetizer and brought me baked instead of fries as ordered. The waitress brought fries but they were undercooked and I only ate one. She never came back to see how our food was and never questioned the fact that I never touched my fries. It seemed that this was her first waitressing job and she was never trained properly on how to care for customers. The salad bar looked extremely unappetizing so we avoided that. All in all a big disappointment.”

“I have eaten at a lot of places near the beach in Dover. Usually they are average at best but Willie's was well above average. Service, food, freshness and quality was all top notch. AND I did not get the feeling I was just penetrated violently when I left. Excellent and we will be eating there often now. Great job Willie's!”

“I have always had the perch dinner and love it. Decided to try pickerel this time. Still good but not at the perch level. Always go for the dinner. Stick to fish and avoid steak. Celery bread is outstanding and try every salad. Not sure why they put whole green onions on the pickle plate. Who eats that?”

“This is a great little restaurant at the beach in Port Dover. The food specialty is local caught Perch and Walleye. They are excellent! Other menu items are beach bar based, hamburgers, hot dogs, and Ice cream. The decor is unique, the tables are made from live edge slabs of Cypress and the remaining decor is reminiscent of a beach club. The decor on the walls has many old pictures of the area many years ago. The quality and quantity of the food is excellent. The service is fast and friendly. It is not an upscale restaurant, but serves great food in a unique environment. When the weather is good, they have an outside patio, with a take out, and order window.”

“A wonderful place to eat and drink, directly at Lake Erie. You can't sit closer to the water. The dishes are creative and full of ideas. Everything we ate tasted very good. The staff was friendly. The order was received quickly. The food and drinks were served quickly. It is advisable to make a reservation. For dessert I recommend pumpkin ice cream, unique!”

“My mom, my mother in law and I enjoyed a lovely day in Port Dover on a beautiful day in October after a rainy day the day before. It just begged for a wonderful road trip from Toronto and we had an excellent lunch at the Crepe House in town. The atmosphere and interior were lovely, the staff and crepes were all excellent. Maybe there's still a few days in October when you are able to enjoy a delicious sweet crepe and wonderful coffee outside. We thoroughly found Port Dover to be a great place to visit no matter where you're coming from.”

“It's an old school, real deal coffee shop. No fake vintage coke posters. The kind I remember going to in 70s and was old school back then. They make a good cup of tea. I have discovered that if they do not know how to boil water and pour it over the tea, they probably cannot provide a decent snack or meal. I had, a hard to find, chicken salad sandwich. It was delicious. My Mom had the cream of asperagus soup. It came with plenty of crackers. She said that it was delicious. Small space and fills up quick. Cash only. All day breakfast, good selection of sandwiches, wraps, and subs, salads and soups. 4 ???? because cash only and the use margarine instead of butter. Excellent value.”
