Daybreak

I went to Daybreak for lunch today around 1:30 and ordered the clubhouse sandwich. The waitress told me that the chef had a stressful morning, manning the grill by himself and was too stressed out to make a clubhouse sandwich because it was too much work lol. I was pressed for time and hungry, so I ordered an omelette instead. The food I did get was good and the waitress was great, but this is the first time I've ever been denied something off a menu because it was too hard to prepare and the chef was "stressed out". Unbelievable!

My wife and I love to have the occasional brunch outing and we have been to places ranging from the big chains to unique little places. We found Daybreak in Coburg to be a wonderful, cozy place with friendly staff and delicious food! Their eggs Benedict was good and the spicy omlet with sausages was excellent!! If you are in the area do check out the place.

Fantastic breakfast place near Cobourg Beach. Friendly staff and great traditional breakfast food. Special mention for the Spicy Omelette and delicious Pancakes.

Wow, loved the delicious food here. Highly recommend trying the Spicy Omelete Chicken and the chicken burger!
The waitress was extremely friendly and came by to check on us regularly. Would be coming back here for sure.

Quaint little restaurant with great staff and wonderful food. I had the early little breakfast for under $5. You get 2 eggs, homefries, and your choice of bacon, ham or sausage. Coffee is extra. I have been there twice and both times the coffee was a little bitter. Other than the coffee I would highly recommend it.
